Sometimes we forget that we are the authors of our own life story. And as each page turns and each new chapter begins, we seem to notice one thing. Circumstances that we certainly can do without seem to appear without reason but it is still our hand that wields the pen. Negativity is the villain that rules our brains and we have the power to improve our lives using deep brain stimulation.
Much of deep brain stimulation occurs within the temporal lobe of the brain – the one that houses a very important little fellow – the primary audio cortex. Not only is it the key to human functions like speech and vision but it is also integral to memory control. Imagine this to be a sort of matrix that is highly sensitive to aspects of sound, frequency and wavelength. Ever heard a song or a particular sound which brings back a very clear and vivid memory? That is the temporal lobe at work. This process of mental association is very powerful and is the crown of many religious meditations and deep rumination within the brains consciousness.
This is a guest article by Dan Bainbridge, of Real Subliminal
We get 100s of questions about subliminal messaging all the time, and we jsut can’t answer them all, but the other week we received something which resonated with a lot of the queries we get so decided to write a more detailed response. This question came from someone reading our Subliminal Messaging Course, I will print it in full:
If I already set goals and have a lot of drive for success then what good will subliminal messaging for motivation do me?
The part of the free course she quoted was this part:
Subliminal messaging won’t work if you are lazy or want instant fixes to your problems in life without having to do any of the work yourself. Subliminal messaging will work for you if you already have drive, it will, as suggested above help you to improve, keep you focused on improvement and help you to reach those tough goals without failure, or setbacks!
This was a question I could relate to – once upon a time ago, but since I got into personal development this now seemed so foriegn, and the answer so natural:
There is always room for improvement; if you always seek improvement and personal development then you never need to worry about slipping into old habits, ormaintaning your current level of success.
Self-doubt is a position nobody wants to be in. This is the factor that impedes the development of character and self improvement. This is where we do not want to be – and once we surrender to this, there is almost no turning back. It is a dark place, treacherous and full of feelings of depression, anger and irrational fear that can sink us further into this hole in our life. What happens when you experience overwhelming self-doubt?
You feel that you are no longer yourself. You look in the mirror and can barely recognise the man or woman that stares back at you, haggard, shoddy. The person in the mirror mocks you, calls you a failure and the floor has overtaken your vision as you look down – and you find inveritable truth in those miserable thoughts. You have lost all control. You cannot do anything and are stuck in a negative cycle that overtakes you – wave after wave that crashes into your once solid foundation and now has whittled it away to nary more than a beach of eroding sand – a mere shadow of what you used to be.
Most of us would not want to admit the sad fact of life, but negative thoughts are the main driving force behind the six billion somethings teeming the world right now. We already live in an environment of bad news, bad perceptions and an ecosystem of mistrust. We are driven to the wall by the promotion of bad habits, the perpetuation of bad examples and an attitude of complacency that overarches the world today as we know it. Whatever good there might have been in us is now degenerating fast in a capitalist world that divides the poor and rich in vulgar degrees – faster than the ozone finally leaving the outer tresses of the world as we know it. We are, as humans, losing control little by little of ourselves as we surrender and ingratiate ourselves into this zeitgeist – but I think it is time for a change. We need to break out of our flawed, negative thought processes – it is time to reset yourself. Fight off negative thoughts; learn how subliminals can make it much easier.
