3 Keys to Apply the Law of Attraction, Part of the Law to Success

As the movie, The Secret so clearly showed, the right set of beliefs makes it possible to achieve whatever you want in life. But knowing of these beliefs (primarily the Law of Attraction), and even holding these beliefs yourself, doesn’t guarantee that you will get what you want. If just holding that knowledge were enough, then all the many millions of fans of The Secret movie, as well as the readers of Earl Nightingale’s 1950′s book, The Greatest Secret, would all have achieved all they want in life already. In the Law to Success, Adrian Law shows that there’s more you need to do. You need to use the three keys to applying the Law of Attraction to your life successfully. Here are those three keys.

Be Truly Present in the Moment

Those who succeed in applying the Law of Attraction are “present.” In other words, their full attention is on whatever it is they are doing in the here and now. Letting your mind drift from what you are doing to what has happened in the past or might happen in the future is very common. But the people who do attract what they want in life are able to remain present and attuned to whatever is going on around them right now. The ability to do so is the first key to success.

Subliminal Messages Introduced

This is an introduction to the rising phenomenon of subliminal messages.

A basic definition of subliminal messaging is any sound which transmitted beyond a level of 20,000 Hz. This is the upper level of human hearing capacity; any sounds won't be heard by your conscious hearing. However your unconscious mind can still interpret and decode these types of messages. It is always working on the edge of your perception and decoding information you are not aware of. So whether you like it or not there are suggestions always being stored deep within your subconscious mind.

Usually these messages are forgotten as they are not needed, but when you receive a lot of the same kind of messages they can build up, they can spill over into your conscious mind, into your reality, and influence your beliefs and even your everyday actions.

But, how exactly can this help?

Well, this is the latest craze – instead of randomly having information entering your mind without you knowing it you can use to send yourself specific information. Information which then builds up over the weeks to have a positive effect on your behaviour.

Subliminal messages can be used to:

help overcome a phobia

help you in increase confidence

help you improve your memory

learn a new language

Subliminal Hypnosis Explained

Here is a quick introduction to subliminal hypnosis – what it is and what it can do for you. There is some confusion as to what this exactly is as subliminal messaging and hypnosis different wasy of changing your mind and beliefs etc.. First of all here are 2 definitions:

  • Hypnosis: Is where someone goes into a a trance like state; a state in which they have a heightened suggestibility and do not have the ability to think logically. In this state it is easy to implant suggestions in the subconscious mind. This is usually done with the use of subtle suggestions in a hypnotic tone of voice – designed to ease you into state of trance.
  • Subliminal Messaging: Is also a means to access the subconscious mind and bypasses your critical thinking function. Just as hypnotherapy does it too implants suggestions and thoughts into your mind – the main difference being that you won’t go into a deep trance, and you will not register each subliminal message as it enters your brain. Subliminal messaging isually conducted through the use of music – the suggestions are embedded in the background.

So.. just what is subliminal hypnosis?

The lines can be blurry, and the term has grown to mean different things to different people.

Self Hypnosis Really Works!

Does self-hypnosis really help you achieve your goals? According to many studies, it actually does. The key to successful self-hypnosis, however, is lots of practice.

Self-hypnosis works by planting positive suggestions in the subconscious mind, and you have to be open to that process. It actually makes perfect sense. You wouldn’t require hypnosis if you could achieve your objectives consciously. Therefore, you need to develop the ability to clear your mind of all thoughts.

It’s been shown that children are more easily susceptible to hypnosis. It’s typically more difficult for adults to learn hypnosis. It’s because of the endless activity in the adult brain: thinking, worrying and planning, typically all at once. However, a child’s brain is more like a sponge. It’s easier for them to take in new information since there aren’t as many competing thoughts.

It’s not difficult to learn self-hypnosis. But you need to be in a focused, calm state of mind. This can be hard to do, particularly if you can’t escape the endless parade of thoughts that get in the way of total relaxation.

The fact is that you need to let yourself go in order for self-hypnosis to work. But it can be accomplished if you practice it daily. You need to still the conscious part of the brain so you can send suggestions to the subconscious.
