Business Growth AND Personal Development
After attending my last NLP Course (I suddenly thought that NLP Training Providers need to not only market their based on personal development, but also on the business opportunities an individual can discover by operating within the principles of NLP.
The journey of discovery that I (and many other attendees) went on is amazing, and yes the obvious business opportunity that can be identified is becoming a coach in your specific niche of sector, however how about using the skills and techniques to overcome an obstacle or obstruction that has (up to this point) cause frustration? If enough members of staff accept the principles of cause and effect, i.e. being in control and taking full responsibility for every result you achieve, and the communication model, i.e the perception of an external event can be change; how would that effect the organisation they work for.
I am aware that the effect of a Senior Manger on the culture and ultimately behaviour of a department, section or organisation, however I believe that even better results can be achieve if the principles and techniques learned on an NLP course, are applied and embedded into corporate processes, everything from the language used on staff forms to the layout of a canteen. The behaviour of the organisational towards it’s customers will improve as the internal (organisational) congruency improves i.e. more staff operate using the principles of NLP.e. via staff, correspondence, advertise, even the physical environment of working into an organisation.
So, I know an NLP Course provides the opportunity to grow on a personal level and obviously become a coach – how about using it in the industry you know to make a change at a cultural level? The cost of employing external consultants to manage large scale organisational change can be costly. For me even more value can be gained by making a lot of small things even better and this only be done by someone who knows and understands these small things within a business.
Corporate NLP courses do take place, I think organisations that continue to do this will reap the benefits when enlightenment and personal change is achieved within their staff within an organisation.
