Time to Meditate

Wai Lana Yoga's Sound Meditation

Who can meditate?

Meditation, an exercise recommended for everyone, but especially those of us with hectic, stressful lifestyles, is defined as an engagement in contemplation, especially of a spiritual or devotional nature. Meditation has been shown to relieve stress, manage anger, promote overall good health, and help happiness within ourselves. This helps you become happy, and help you perform on higher levels. But up until the last twenty years, meditation was something the western world new little about. Throngs of people are now starting to learn meditation because it’s so effective.

Rest for your mind and soul

Most of us hardly have any free time, and without even just a few minutes to rest, relax, and reflect, many of us feel we’re almost going crazy. Meditation helps us stay calm, focused, and appreciative. We have to take care of our bodies, minds, and souls- and what better way to do so than yoga and meditation? Wailana Yoga offers fantastic {tips and guides} for stress relief, relaxation, and meditation all in one.

Ancient and Modern techniques to relieve stress

Since time immemorial, people have believed in the power of the energy called qi that flows through our bodies. The energy flow affects our mental state. Nadis or energy pathways are said to carry communication messages throughout the body. Breathing techniques, music, aromas, yoga, qi gong, or tai chi practice are some of the ways we keep our minds and bodies fit. The great benefit in meditation is the mind is relaxed and trained by the exercises, but meditation brings the mind to further relaxation. Time Magazine published a report on how meditation brings about the same calm one gets in REM sleep. But more importantly, meditation brings about an inner peace and calm. Having this inner peace and calm makes it so much easier for us to deal with other people. Meditation isn’t just sitting down and dozing off either. Wailana yoga teaches that meditation is fun and easy.

Amazing, I never thought of that before!

In our meditative state, thoughts that never have the opportunity to be heard during the bustle of the day are afforded the opportunity to come forward and be heard. Every step that we take helps shape our lives. Meditation can help us in so many ways. The best thing is that, meditation helps us find the peace, inner satisfaction, and happiness that we all need.

Thank you for a great post. I often get my best ideas both personal and business like when meditating and getting silent inside!

    Greetings,
